Home Sweet Home

Well...They jacked the pitocin up to 30mls for the last two hours and no change. Our options were 1. stay again tonight redo cervidal and start pitocin again in the morning 2. go home and relax come back tuesday night at 5 to start cervidal 3. have a elective C-section. We chose to take option 2. We think that it is time to go home, sleep in our own bed, regain energy and pray that he decides on his own to come. I think that this is best for all of us (Bob, baby, and me). I don't feel good about giving more drugs when we are not making progress. Also Bob slept on what looked like a pancake last night. He has been the most amazing cheerleader. He does everything and anything that I need without batting an eye. I have to admit I did have a minor nervous breakdown around 3pm. I was frustrated with not making progress and having back labor. Bob was just what I needed-he told me that we could do whatever we need to do and he wouldn't be upset. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful wishes and I look forward to sharing good news when he arrives!

Okay, home is good. Try to get some rest (not that I can even imagine you resting). And, try to get some food in you. Personally, I think you were puking because of the drugs and because you were forced to stay in bed!

We love you!
And we'll keep right on praying! :)

p.s. See how I spent my first full day of summer vacation??

Hey Uncle Matt,

In regards to the comment you left yesterday do you not think that the name Truman would be fitting? Maybe Truman Matthew Boone??

And, btw you do know that any & all honorary uncles are bound by law to pay for college correct?

:)
