Summer fun Part One

Summer is flying by so fast already.  I have to be honest with you that now that I am out of school, I can't remember what day it is and that is something I love!!!  Here are pictures from fun we have been having but I know they aren't in chronological order so just bear with me.

The first week of summer, Nolan participated in Safety Town.  He was not too excited about going because he didn't see any familiar faces.  Everyday he would pout and give me a hard time about staying.  He made it through to the last day with graduation!

Aunt Katie came down to watch him get his award.

Landon loves to give Maw Maw lots of squeezes.

Nolan and Bob have been enjoying the whole t-ball season.  There are a great group of kids on their team and they have a good time!

Landon, Carter, and their buddy Christopher are such great helpers. Here they are working together as Bob’s 3rd base coach.

Nolan has made quite a few great friends.

How cute is this!  Nolan loves spending time with his Daddy!

At the end of the soccer season, Bob and I were asked to have Carter and Landon play with a soccer club team for a tournament.  We both thought this would be a great experience for them both.  The coach was amazing and really challenged the boys each practice.  The tournament was a tough two day experience and the boys ended up winning the whole thing.  Carter and Landon were so happy to earn a trophy with these boys.

Celebratory dance party in the goal box!

One night after a late baseball game, we pulled into our driveway and a car passing by yelled out "Be careful when you are getting out of your car, there is a large black snake crossing the street into your yard."  Wow, this snake was a large black snake for sure.  Carter and I watched it cross the street and then Bob and the other boys got home and we watched it slither into the tree by our mailbox.  As we were unloading the car, I heard a "whap, whap" a car had run over the snake as it was headed back across the road.

We went back on the road to see it was hit and it was coiled up in attack mode and hissing like crazy. The next morning Bob picked it up and put it in the garage can for the boys to see.  It was pretty amazing.

The boys were invited to a nerf gun birthday party.   They had a blast playing nerf gun war with all their friends!

This year Landon was chosen to play on the All Star Team.  He was over the moon about it!  Hunter and Owen played along with him.

He played really well that night.  What a fun game it was to watch!

Summer has just begun and we can't get enough of it!!!
