A stop at the dunes on Father's Day

Image
Father's Day was Sunday the last day of our trip to Chicago.  As a request Bob wanted to see more of Chicago and stop at the sand dunes in Indiana on the trip home.  This was a great idea and here are a few photos to prove it! We had a great trip.  The day ended on a sweet note with a little cake for Father's Day!

Chicago Trip...Part Two

All the kids getting excited to head to Lego Land The entrance... Snapping a quick family photo before our adventure begins! Inside all of the statues were created by Legos...it was very cool! We even watched a 4-D movie.   Albert and Charles are very excited to watch the 4-D movie too! Throughout the building there were quite a few different spots to visit.  One of my favorites was the Lego Workshop where the kids got to build a sea turtle made from legos.  An instructor used a document camera to display each step of the process.  I was so excited for the boys to build it because it was too cute.  As soon as we sat down Carter opene...
