A rainy and fun Halloween
Another great part of living in Apple Orchard Estates in Amherst is that they celebrate trick or treat on the Saturday evening before the holiday. This gives us the chance to make this an evening event without having to stress about getting the kids in bed for school the next day.
Unfortunately it was drizzling rain the whole time but when you are grabbing candy at every house in the neighborhood it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. Aunt Katie, Grandma Angie, Paw Paw, Uncle Matt and his family all came over to enjoy the fun with us.

These Boone boys do love Halloween. This was the first year that they were insistent on being their own person and not wanting to be a family costume. I have to admit that it didn't sit well with me at first but I am just thankful for the years they went along for the ride.
Paw Paw had a great time helping us pass out candy as we toured the neighborhood.
