Summer summer summer fun

Here are some of the many random fun things we have been doing this summer:

Bob took on the job of building us a pergola for our backyard patio.  It arrived in 3 big boxes with more than 1200 screws...quite a project.  It is just what we needed and we are so thankful and appreciative of all of his time it took to complete it.  The boys loved helping him out.

Nothing melts my heart more than catching the boys up late reading together.  It's so hard to make them go to bed when you see them doing this together!

One of our favorite places to visit is Mill Hollow.  We love to wade in the water and throw rocks in.  The Vermilion River flows through it straight to Lake Erie.  The boys always look for crawfish and turtle rocks.

Many evenings we ended our night with a backyard bonfire.  Long Live Summer!
