Couples Trip to Baltimore

The excitement for the couples trip getaway weekend is something we look forward to the moment we plan it.  This year we were headed to Baltimore, MD.

Look at us...so giddy for a weekend away kidless
When we arrived we dropped our luggage off at the hotel and found a restaurant to try.  It was called the Rusty Scupper.  The scene was quite fancy and the prices on the menu were more than we anticipated, but...when in Rome?

On the way home we stopped by the store and Bob purchased "regular beer"...turns out we were tricked...just a stinking sticker on the can.

Poolside beauties...catching some rays and reading some books...living the dream!

This is amazing...Bob reading!!!!

Super fun crowd at the pool!

We were able to catch an Orioles baseball game.  What a cool stadium it is!

After the game we traveled over to a super cool outdoor place where there was a live band, a night club, and giant jenga.

A very interesting night club for adults...we brought the average of the age up a few decades!

The next morning we explored a new place called Fell's Pointe. It is a brick street village with cool shops and great restaurants.

Our absolute favorite activity was jumping on the scooters and taking them all over the city.

We celebrated our 17th anniversary together while we were there!  So happy to have this hunk in my life!

Our last night we took the water taxi over to Fell's Pointe for dinner and entertainment.

The temperature dropped quickly so we stopped by Goodwill to grab a sweater!

Our goal was to find a place to eat steamed crabs.  The restaurant we found was in the shape of a boat and Phil ate his weight in blue crabs.

What an absolute wonderful weekend getaway with amazing friends and just us!
