Trail Life Lock-in

The boys have started participating in Trail Life which is boys scouts but faith based through our church.  The meetings consist of a group gathering then a biblical lesson all working toward a badge. They hosted their first ever "lock-in" at the church.  Bob was taking the boys and spending the night.

Each age group had to create a flag that represented their animal.  Nolan helped to contribute a "fox" to the flag.

Carter stepped up and lead the group.  Bob and I often talk about this characteristic that he has because don't get me wrong it's a great quality to have and we hope it helps him in his future but he has to tread lightly because he can become so bossy.

Here he is presenting their coat of arms what he helped to draw and create.

The boys had a blast enjoying all the fun games and activities.  This game is called "carpet ball".  One of the boys favorites.

Boone boys ruling the pool table.
My favorite story that Bob told when he got home was about how many boys were sneaking snacks all throughout the night and he could hear munching in sleeping bags.

Boys night was a great experience for them.
