Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we were headed down to The Lodge.  The boys had been counting down the days until we were jumping in the car to head down to The Lodge.  Oh how we love our time outdoors in nature at the Lodge.
This year James was so excited to smoke the turkey and inject it with some sweet juices.

Our new favorite game is Clue Jr.  Wow, this game takes quite a bit of time to complete!!! All of the adults took turns playing with the boys.

We lucked out with some great fall weather where we could take four wheeler rides, nature hikes, and spend time out by the campfire.

So thankful for the moments we get together as a family

The boys are in their element when they are outside

On our nature hike we found a deer skull.  The boys thought this was so cool and we even scared Maw Maw with it too!

When Lincoln arrived, Nolan and him were inseparable. Mostly up to no good, but having the best time while doing it.

All the boys love their sweet little May, but Landon can't get enough of her!  The moment she comes into the room he has his arms outreached and is asking when he can hold her.

Who am I kidding, I can't get enough of her either!  She is a crawling machine right now.

These are the moments I want to capture forever in my mind. "Freeze them in time"

Snuggles and squeezes with Maylee Moo

On Friday Bob, Danielle, and I jumped in the car and traveled to Rock House Trail. This was such a cool place to explore.  We climbed up into this huge whole in a rock and there were walls made from rocks.  It was so stinking cool.

Next we ventured over to the "Natural Rock Bridge".  This was a diamond in the rough set back into the forest.  By this time the kids were quite tired but it was worth the walk!

This is a bridge over this huge drop off made from rock.

Since Maylee's baptism was on Sunday we drove up to Danielle's house on Saturday.  Recently They have decided to move to Texas for Edd's job.  They are getting their house ready to sell so we were there to help in any way we could.  The kids had a blast playing together.  Now that Maylee can crawl she is trying so hard to keep up with the rest of them.

Here she is playing with all the kids in the cabinet!
Maylee's Baptism was a beautiful ceremony where Bob and Kristen were honored to be apart of.  She cried up until she made it to the holy water and then she was quiet and smiled.

Yep, we had a great Thanksgiving with lots to be Thankful for.
