Autumn fun is upon us

Oh, how I hate to see summer go but I get giddy with excitement thinking of all the fun there is to be had in autumn.  I miss our time in Michigan when we were heading from orchard to pumpkin patch at any chance we could get.  So…we drove up to visit family and friends for the weekend and to take advantage of some fall fun.
Saturday morning we went to watch Tesa play volleyball and the boys had a fun time running races in the gym between games.
After that we met the Lokers at Aber Orchard in Manchester.  We had never been there so were were excited to see what all it had to offer. There were pumpkins, gourds, farm animals, apples, doughnuts, and a straw maze.
The boys chose their own pumpkin.  Nolan kept saying, "My watermelon"

The orchard was such a peaceful place.  We arrived about 15 minutes before closing but since the owners live on the property they encouraged us to stay and enjoy ourselves.  Twist our arm right?  We ended up being there for over an hour.

The straw bales were to be a maze but our kids played hot lava and horses!  Ha!

Catching up is so fun with Laura

These boys bring joy to our life.
