Fun at the pumpkin patch
Fall is finally here! This family loves getting outdoors and enjoying all at fall has to offer. This weekend we headed to a local pumpkin patch/apple orchard. This cheap skate was all for hitting the FREE places however it was closed on Sunday. Just down the road was another place but it cost a fortune. Bob ended up talking me into paying $6 per person since we were all out of the car and the kids were so excited. If we are spending that much money you better believe we got our money's worth...ha ha. The boys played for quite some time in the hay maze, apple crate maze, playground, corn maze, and pedal bike race.
We rode the hayride back to the orchard to pick apples. The boys climbed the trees and Paw Paw shined them up on his shirt. Next, Paw Paw taught the boys to stick the apples on the end of a stick and fling them into the air. This will sure lead to some broken windows in our future but the boys loved it!
