Life in the new house!
So we are officially in the new house and adjusting to our surroundings. Carter has slept one night in his crib. Ahhhh! He is also getting some top teeth that are causing him major pains. He loves how much space there is in the new house that he can drive his trucks all over. A down fall is that when he can't find us he just sits and cries until you find him or play a game of Marco Polo to assist him in the game of hide and seek. We love the backyard. Bob spent a little over 2 hrs mowing on Sunday and I could hear him grunting the whole time. He loves doing those manly things. We have also found out that the backyard is an animal sanctuary. We have Gary the groundhog that lives under the shed. Bob has a plan for him. I have seen a bird fight with a hawk who was eating a mouse being dive bombed by blue jays, black birds, robins, and cardinals. That was intense. We watched from inside the safe house. Also we have a deer named Denise who will walk right up to the deck and look in the window and casually stroll through the backyard. Carter is amazed by her. Last weekend Carter and I traveled to Bucyrus to have a garage sale of all of our things from the old house that we didn't need. It was so great to see all the unneeded items go to great homes. While we were there Bob was here painting the new baby's room and taking care of odds and ends. He kicked some serious butt. Wow! He looked exhausted when we got home on Saturday. The room looks great and I will post some photos when it is complete.
