Visitors from Texas

Danielle and the kids came home for two weeks and stayed with us...let the fun begin and never stop.
They crashed at our house and it was so much fun...never a dull moment.  We were busy from sun up to sun down. Here are photos from all the memories we made together.

Hot plate rice krispy treats while we painted rocks and drew on extra long paper.

The kitchen was a busy place throughout the weeks due to cooking, cleaning up after cooking, playing, and planning to eat all over again.

There were quite a few rainy days while they were here so we headed over to Main Event.  It is a place that offers bowling, arcade games, lazer tag, and a ropes course.  We tried out the bowling and had a blast.

Paw Paw and May chowing down some pizza.

After playing around in the rainy muddy mess, we all had to take turns cleaning up.  Maylee loved painting with colorful shaving cream in the bathtub.

The next morning we jumped in the car and took off to grab doughnuts by the lake.  We walked down by the water to throw in rocks and sticks while looking for sea glass and lucky stones.

Later that day our library was hosting an animal presentation with OutBack Ray.  Danielle worked from the coffee shop down the street while Maw Maw and I took the kids.  They loved getting a chance to pet some exotic animals

Any free moment that we had at the house, most likely was filled with games of "knockout" in the driveway.  Maw Maw even got in on the game with the kids.

A hot dog and marshmallow roast was a must in the backyard.

One day we packed lunches and headed out to Lakewood to a super cool park.  There were so many neat pieces of playground equipment for the kids to explore together.  After lunch we walked down the trail to see the skyline of Cleveland.

Once we returned from the park, Paw Paw had brought Grandma Grocho up to visit and squeeze on all the kids.  She loves them all so much and they love her too!  We ate a delicious dinner followed by an unexpected sweet treat...Grandma had made her famous cherry delight cheesecake...calories worth saving room for!  She is all smiles when she watches her great grandkids! So lucky to have her.

As it continued to rain we surprised the kids with a trip to Castaway Bay, the indoor waterpark.  We spent 6 hours there.  The kids were having such a blast and we wanted to wear them out.

The fun doesn't end there...be sure to check out the next post for more!
