2017 Lodge River Raft Trip

The time has come to return to the Lodge for our annual river raft trip down the Hocking River.  We are always so giddy to head down to the Lodge to be with family and enjoy the outdoors. Bob was all time pitcher to many games of wiffleball with the kids.  They played together from sun up to sun down...you name it they played it. Wiffleball, soccer, hide and seek, tag, etc. Teri made everyone t-shirts this year for our voyage.  It's the second annual trip. Riding the trails with Bob         James loves taking all the kids out on the trails When they weren't outside playing they were inside playing games together. It is always so much fun seeing how well they all play well together! Squeezing on Maylee! It's that time of year again that the boys look forward to each year...the Kids Mudder in Michigan.  Each year it has grown in size so this year it was located on the other side of the Brooklyn Raceway (MIS-Michigan Intl Speedway).   The Parkers joined us this year for their first race experience! On your marks, get set, go! Landon is the kid in the orange shirt climbing over the big mud hills Climbing over the wooden hurdles Carter was out in front this year.   Landon wasn't too far behind him either.  Jumping over big logs Jeremy, Katie, and Angie came with us to cheer the boys on! Balancing over the river of mud   It's a slide to the finish! Two tough boys! This is such a great event for the boys...until we meet again next year!

First stop was Cincinnati for lunch.  Phil and Alissa lived close by there for a few years so they were willing to show us around the city and we ate at a pretty cool brewery for lunch. When we arrived at our hotel, Embassy Suites, in downtown Louisville.  We got all dolled up and headed down for the free managers reception for snacks and beverages!  We all clean up well! Fourth Street Live was right across the street from our hotel.  This is a blocked off road that is lined with restaurants and bars.  We ate dinner at Gordon Biersch Brewery.  The food was delicious. Next we stopped by Howl at the Moon. Lots of s
