Fondue Fun-do!!

One of the last weekend's in February, the boys were invited to a bowling birthday party for Mason Rader.  We all jumped in the car and headed over to play.  The boys love bowling and it was so much fun to see them celebrate with Mason.
It's a whole lot of fun!!
After the party, Bob and I thought we could take the boys to the Melting Pot fondue restaurant. This was a first for the boys.  In my mind it was going to be a super fun experience that we would remember forever.  When we sat down at the table, reality quickly set in!

The sharpest long forks ever are on the tables rolled with silverware which in less than three seconds became the coolest swords a boy could imagine.  They were sword fighting and clanging them all over the place.  Immediately we had to have a "family" talk about the rules at this special restaurant.  It got better from that point.
The waitress was wonderful with the kids and let them watch as she poured and mixed everything over the table.  I was a nervous Nelly because not only did they have sharp objects but the table was now super hot from melting cheese and chocolate.

The smiles on their faces just say it all!!!

We were covered in melted chocolate from head to toe!!

Definitely an event that we will do again!!!

On our way home we found a new "nature hike".
