We traveled down to Columbus to celebrate Addie's third birthday.  Danielle had rented out this recreation center within a local church and it was off the hook!  There was a party room with a huge play place like at McDonalds, a climbing wall, and a plastic climber for toddlers.  From the moment we walked in the kids were in heaven. Addie was wearing two princess dresses at this point of the party!   Uncle Edd plays with Landon…Don't mind Paw Paw in the background! Now don't get me wrong, no one loves snow days as much as the kids but I am a very close second!  I am giddy when I get that phone call that lets me know I can shut the alarm clock off and cuddle with whoever has made their way into our bed that night. Recently we have been hit with unbelievably cold temperatures that have caused school to cancel.  During these days off we have kept quite busy!  We made flubber.  They loved playing with this!  Word to the wise: Don't put it in your hair or on your carpet…speaking from personal experience it's not easy to cleanup. Maw Maw traveled up to stay with us while we were cooped up in the house.  We made fruit kabobs!  Next up, baking soda eruptions with eye droppers.  I don't know what it is about eruptions but the boys could do it everyday. I am a sucker for Valentine's Day…I've been a sappy romantic for as long as I can remember and that is one thing I hope to pass on to my boys…love is all you need.  We started out our Valentine's Day with a quick photo op before heading off to school to celebrate. The official day began with heart streamers hanging from the doorway, hearts scattered on the floor leading down the stairs to a table full of heart shaped pancakes. After breakfast, heart shaped scavenger hunt clues lead the boys through the house to find their sweet reward. Discovering the treasure at the end of the scavenger hunt Nolan was so happy with his treasure that he carried it around the house for quite some time! Our days are packed full of the hustle and bustle of reality but I hope that the boys know that no matter what happens we love them to the moon and back.
