Week Five: Coronavirus April 13-19

The sun is shining bright and the boys are loving the chance to get out and ride their scooters.  Recently they have been trying so hard to "get some air" as they ride them throughout the neighborhood.  Nolan got an early birthday present...his red Razor scooter so he could join in with his brothers. Wow, Landon that is a great jump! On another trip to Oberlin to catch Pokemon and we stumbled upon this super cool rock structure. Another week of online teaching for me...farm theme edition!  Nolan has to be bribed to chat with his classmates but once he is online he is totally fine.  Leo is always featured in his chat. Leo has become a great addition to our family.  His razor sharp puppy teeth are causing lots of tears, shrieks, and scratches all over our bodies. He is a cuddle bug and when the boys are too close he will put himself in his crate for some "alone time". After his first vet appointment, we took him for a nature hike at Bacon Woods ...

Week Four: Coronavirus (April 6-10)

Week Four...who would have thought we would still be doing this quarantine thing...not me! This week was an adventure for us. I continue to teach Monday through Friday at 9am on my classroom Facebook page to my students for about 45 minutes.  I set up all the learning and use large pieces of paper to write on for calendar practice, math problems, writing prompts, and knowledge charts for the topics we are discussing. I have also been incorporating a super fun science experiment at the end of each lesson with some yoga practices to close the lesson. The sunshine has been bright and we have been trying to enjoy every bit that we can.  Nolan is in love with Leo and you can often catch him cuddling with him and carrying him around like a baby.
