Big boys head to work with Dad

This is Bob chiming in again. I wanted to share about a pretty cool day that I am beginning to look forward to more and more each year. The company I work for, Eaton Corporation, takes part in a national event called bring your daughters & sons to work day. Once the boys reach a certain age they are allowed to come. I feel very lucky that Eaton takes the time to plan for such a great experience for the kids who are able to participate.  Carter and Landon were very excited once they picked up their name tags. Let the fun begin. They started off by doing an overview of the company and the products that we make. It was neat to see the boys react when they found out all of the things we make. They were especially interested in learning about the smart home technologies we make (lights, garage doors, backup power sources, door locks, etc... all that you can control from your phone or computers from around the world). Spring breakers 2018

Spring Break was an event we have been looking forward to since the moment we booked it months ago.  As soon as we got out of school on Thursday we jumped in the car and headed out on the road. It was cold and rainy during the trip down.  We stopped for dinner in Mansfield area and when we got out Carter and Landon slipped and slid down a muddy hill on their bottoms.  They were covered in mud on their backsides.  We made it to Cincinnati for the first night.  The hotel had this cool art screen that the boys enjoyed drawing and creating masterpieces.   Up the next morning early we started our drive.  The traffic was very heavy and we didn't make as good of time as we had hoped for.  We quick jumped off the highway for an impromptu stop at the Louisville Slugger Museum. It is the 20th anniversary of the movie The Sandlot so there were quite a few exhibits set up for them. The boys got a chance to use the batting cages within the museum. There is never a du
