5 months old!

It's hard to believe but Nolan is 5 months old!!!  This little man has been working hard this month. He is crawling across the room.  He started just by getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth but he quickly figured out that by grabbing the shag of the carpet he could get to what he wanted.  Carter and Landon are loving and hating this at the same time because he can now get into what they are playing with. It's now time to babyproof the house. Ready or not he is on the move   We have started to give him oatmeal and real food.  With Carter, we would have to use the spoon to push down his tongue when feeding him but with Nolan, no joke, the kid grabbed the spoon and put it in his mouth.  He eats like a starving hyena and cries when the plate is empty.  I think that if I put a T-bone steak on his plate he would find a way to grub on it!

Fun at the pumpkin patch

Fall is finally here!  This family loves getting outdoors and enjoying all at fall has to offer.  This weekend we headed to a local pumpkin patch/apple orchard.  This cheap skate was all for hitting the FREE places however it was closed on Sunday.  Just down the road was another place but it cost a fortune. Bob ended up talking me into paying $6 per person since we were all out of the car and the kids were so excited.  If we are spending that much money you better believe we got our money's worth...ha ha.  The boys played for quite some time in the hay maze, apple crate maze, playground, corn maze, and pedal bike race. straw maze cuddles with Maw Maw Picking apples Paw Paw lifts Landon up into the tree to grab some apples Taste testing! Landon decided to water the apple tree running through the corn maze   We rode the hayride back to the orchard to pick apples.  The boys climbed the tree...

Landon's most eventful day ever!

The boy's preschool field trip to Burnham's Family farm was scheduled for Thursday October 3rd.  Bob wanted to go with the kids but since he was in Mexico for work, I took the day off school and went.  We had such a great time together.  We picked apples from the trees, watched how the apples are washed and packaged for stores, visited the biggest refrigerator full of the sweetest smelling apples ever, and watched them make cider.  Next we went on a hayride, picked pumpkins from a pile, drank fresh apple juice, played at the playground, ran through a hay maze, and rode bikes through a maze. This was the first time I had the chance to see Carter and Landon with their friends from their classes interact.  Landon kinda has an advantage because Morgan is in his class and they go to Becky's (the sitter) together each day.  Landon insisted on finding Morgan and holding her hand throughout the day. Look Landon and Morgan holding hands at the Toledo Zoo two yea...
