Girls Weekend 2021

It's time for the annual girls trip to Michigan. We all look forward to this trip!  It involves all my college besties/volleyball teammates.  We have a bond that is unbreakable...friends that feel like family! Thanks to Kelly we always have a wind blown Jeep ride! Our beach was not there this year due to the rain we had...we were bummed so we had to find another one. The girls always request homemade elephant ears for breakfast one morning. Antiquing is our thing we do at least one day of the trip!  I try and find one thing that I can bring home to remind me of the trip each year. We had to talk Kelly out of purchasing these creepy deer. We never have big plans for this trip except spending time together, talking, laughing, crying, and making memories. Virginia Beach

After baseball season, we all piled into the car and drove over to Virginia Beach for our family vacation. This is a place we had never been before so we were excited to experience a new place.  We drove the first night until Washington D.C. area Our hotel was a part of an indoor/outdoor shopping center so we were able to walk around and explore after being in the car for a long time.  Sleeping in hotel rooms is always an adventure with us.  Landon ended up wrapped like a burrito at the end of the bed in the morning. The hotel toilet had a bidet and the boys were intrigued.  Nolan spent quite some time trying to convince himself that he wouldn't be spraying toilet bowl water on his bottom if he used it.  He finally got up enough courage to use it on the last day and he said, "Mom whoever invented that should be fired!"
