The Boone Family

Today is President's Day and I don't have school! Yeah! I went to the doctor for the monthly checkup. Dr. Starck checked the heartbeat and everything looks great! I am 16 weeks 3 days. This past week I have started to feel better and not throw up. I hope that I am over that bump. After our appointment, Carter and I went to visit our friends Kristy and Tyler McClelland . We played and had lunch together. Next we headed to Westlake Recreation Center and we went swimming. The boys had a blast. Carter was a fish. He was splashing and kicking and talking like a maniac. He loved it. On the way home he fell asleep from pure exhaustion.

Carter is really loving his Johnny Jump Up! He gets jumping so fast and so crazy that it makes us dizzy! He finally fits into his first pair of Nike's. it was so funny to watch him try to walk with them on. They made him look like such a big boy! Well, we are officially 16 weeks along on Friday! It's hard to believe that we are that far. I have noticed this time that the belly is harder to hide. The first time was so exciting to see the belly grow but this time I forget that the reason the belly is growing is because there is a baby in there. I am starting to feel better. I haven't puked in a week! Hip hip hooray! My next hurdle is to start working out but I am having a hard time with having energy to do so though. I tried to work out in the morning before but gagged so hard that I thought I would puke. Hopefully this will change soon!

It is so hard to believe but he is 8 months old on Feb. 10 th . He is getting so big and we are enjoying every minute of it. We haven't had his picture professionally taken since he was 3 months old so I decided to take him. We went to Portrait Innovations in Avon. They were awesome. They took a lot of photos and you get a lot of photos for your money and you get the CD of all the pics. Here are a few of our favorites.
